Our Pastors

Bret Rogers | Pastor Preaching, Worship, Missions, Children's Ministry, Care Groups Email
Originally from Corpus Christi, Texas, Bret moved to Fort Worth in 2004 to attend seminary at Southwestern, where he also worked as a welder and plumber. As a daughter of missionaries, Rachel grew up in West Africa and later attended Texas A&M. Bret met Rachel in 2003 on a family hunting trip and married Rachel in the summer of 2006. Shortly thereafter, they joined Redeemer Church. While completing his Master of Divinity, Bret served as a deacon of the bookstore ministry at Redeemer and served in the children’s ministry alongside Rachel. In 2008, he became a part-time Children’s Ministry intern for Redeemer, committed to serving as a care group leader, and began a PhD in New Testament at Southwestern.
Between 2008 and 2010, through the ongoing ministry of God’s word through the children’s ministry and care group leadership and through the people of Redeemer Church, God began to change Bret’s affections from desiring to devote the majority of his energies to the Christian academy to wanting those energies to be spent serving the local church more directly and, God willing, vocationally. His present pursuit of the PhD now has such focus.
At the September 2011 members’ meeting, the membership affirmed Bret to serve as a vocational pastor alongside our non-vocational pastors as they all care for God’s people through devotion to prayer and the ministry of the word. By God’s relentless grace, with Rachel’s prayerful encouragement, and alongside the members’ faithful partnership in the gospel, Bret’s hope is that Redeemer Church hear the voice of their Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ, as they labor together to spread God’s glory to their neighbors and the nations.
Bret and Rachel are blessed with three children; Luke (June 2008), Levi (Oct 2010), and Anna (July 2012).

Dale Stonecipher | Pastor Men's & Women's Ministries, Administration Email
Dale was one of the original elders. He and his wife, Julia, have lived in the Fort Worth area for many years and have three grown children who live in DFW. Dale served in the Air Force before settling in here. He is a physical therapist by profession. Before coming to Redeemer Church, Dale served as the young married Sunday school teacher in another SBC church in Fort Worth and later spent several years at a local church plant.
Dale has a passion for Christ's body, the Church, and for small group ministry. To that end, he leads a care group.
Dale and Julia married in May of 1967.

Wes Duggins | Pastor Adult, Youth, & College Discipleship and Local Outreach Email
Raised in a believing home, Wes was instructed in the gospel and exposed to the need for worldwide missions from his earliest years. He received a degree in pastoral missions from Calvary Bible College in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1988. Shortly after graduating, he met and married Stephanie Diehl, also a graduate of Calvary and a teacher at nearby Berean Christian School. Wes and Stephanie have six children, ages 22 to 13.
After ten years of marriage, work, and ministry in Kansas City, Wes and Stephanie were providentially led to Fort Worth in 1999. Serving as a deacon in a local reformed baptist church and leading a nursing home ministry and numerous mission trips to Mexico further confirmed Wes’s desire to be involved in pastoral ministry. Wes and Stephanie became members of Redeemer Church in early 2010 and Wes was affirmed to serve as an elder in February of 2013.
Wes is thankful for God’s rich grace shown to him through the Redeemer family and desires to point all of Christ’s flock to the sufficiency of Christ as He is revealed in the gospel. He especially wants to assist in the training and development of men who aspire to bring the gospel to unreached and under-reached peoples around the world.
