A parent-baby dedication is a ceremony in which believing parents make a commitment before the Lord and in the presence of their church family to submit themselves to the Lord as parents and to raise their child, with God's help, to the service and glory of God. This is a commitment to teach and train their child in the scriptures, through example and through godly means of discipline, prayerfully leading their child to a saving knowledge of Christ and his gospel.
